About DP Sales

DP Sales Inc., a family-owned business, was started in 1992 by David Powell. Dave started the business in the basement of his home ordering and delivering safety boots and providing embroidered and screen-printed clothing to his customers.

Prior to this time, Dave worked in several areas of sales and retail business. In 2000, the business expanded and a retail store was opened on Singing Hills Blvd. in Sioux City, IA, its current location.

Dave’s son, Brent, joined the business at that time and remains instrumental in the daily management of operations. In addition to the retail store, DP Sales goes on-site to many companies with a display model of safety footwear, fitting employees, taking orders, and shipping free of charge. DP Sales will come on-site with your logoed clothing as well.

We currently travel to businesses located in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Missouri, and Kansas. We view ourselves as an extension of a company’s safety team. We believe our success is measured by our customers’ experience and ultimate satisfaction.

 In 2013, Dave’s spouse, Ronette, joined the business.

With experience in human resource management and business knowledge, she is instilling a positive customer experience and business growth.

In June 2016, our storefront relocated into a larger building to accommodate our growth.
